Steve Jobs

Steven Paul Jobs was born February 24, 1955 and sadly passed away October 5, 2011. Gone too soon.

Steve Jobs was an inventor and an entrepreneur. He was co-founder of Apple Inc and Pixar Animation Studios. He along with others designed, developed and marketed one of the first personal computers, the Apple II series. From there on he changed the face of the modern world. Steve Jobs made modern technology a part of our everyday lives, from music, phones, applications and wireless functions. Steve Jobs created Apple, invented the iMac, came up with the iPod, iPhone and iPad and altered the music industry with iTunes. He changed the way we live and the way we see the world.

Steve Jobs lost his long battle with pancreatic cancer on October 5, 2011. Ironically, the news caused a meltdown on social media sites Twitter and Facebook. One of the most popular messages being: 'Three apples changed the world. The one that Eve ate, the one that dropped on Newton's head and the one that Steve built.'

The passing of Steve Jobs is set to break new records on Twitter and Facebook and beat all other international events. Within minutes of his death tributes began flowing in from world leaders, the big technology bosses and his many fans throughout the world.

Steve Jobs, a creative genius driven by imagination and determination will be sadly missed by many worldwide and one would have to wonder, will Apple ever be the same!

The official Steve Jobs biography, written by Walter Isaacson was originally planned to be released on November 21, but will now be released on October 24, 2011. Pre- purchases have already made it the number - one best seller at Amazon and at the Apple's iTunes Store. His life will be brought to the big screen as Sony Pictures has bought the movie rights to his biography 'Steve Jobs.'

The Steve Jobs legacy will go further than just the products he created, it will stand to remind us of just what the human mind can achieve if we believe and that one person alone, CAN change the world.
