2011 AFL GRAND FINAL

PIES VS CATS

So much for "one day in September". Here we are, the 1st October, 2011 and it all comes down to this. Collingwood and Geelong meeting in their fourth AFL Grand Final, fighting it out at the MCG to decide who will be the 2011 AFL Grand Final winners.

The start for Scott, coaching in his first Grand Final, and the end for Malthouse. After coaching 664 games, this will be his last AFL Grand Final. Can the Pies send him off in glory?

Collingwood are the 2010 Grand Final winners and have Dane Swan, the 2011 Brownlow Medal winner but Geelong are seasoned professionals, this being their fourth Grand Final played in five years, winning two Grand Finals in that time. Can they make it three Grand Finals in five years?

TAB Sportsbet has Geelong as firm favourites to win the 2011 AFL Grand Final but the keys could very well come down to the weather and wet conditions of the MCG as well as how well key players are matched up and how they perform.  The team who's players match up to their opponents and perform well in the conditions will most definitely walk away with the 2011 AFL Grand Final Premiership Cup.

Best of luck to both the Collingwood and Geelong teams as well as all your supporters out there.
