We are fortunate to be in an era where we can reach people all over the world at little or no cost. Advertising can get very costly but thanks to the Internet you don't have to spend fortunes on billboards, television and magazine advertisements.


Here is a list of ways you can advertise your business for little or no cost.


Email Marketing - create your own mailing list
Internet Marketing - create your own website
Social Media Marketing - create a page on a social media site such as Face book
Forum Marketing - join a forum that pertains to your niche
Blog Marketing - create a blog and comment on other blogs
Start Twittering
Classified Advertising - use free classified advertising
Email Signatures - create an email signature that contains your website link and use it on all outgoing emails.
Craigslist.com - advertise on craigslist, its a free classified website
YouTube.com - create a video and place it on YouTube
Network Marketing - network with others that are doing what you do
Article Advertising - write an article and send it to appropriate sites asking if they would publish your article.
Search Engine Directories - set up a listing on search engine directories such as Google, Bing and Yahoo
Business Stationery - get business stationery and be sure to have your website on all stationery
Business Cards - give a stack of business cards to your family, friends and relatives and ask them to hand them out to their friends
EBay - the biggest online auction website. A great place to start selling your product.
